Yusuf Shittu is a Medical Doctor at the nexus of Global Health Innovation, Advocacy and Entrepreneurship. He combines his role as Co-Founder/CEO of Neo Childcare – an innovative digital child health service, with his work as Chief Medical Officer at Shifa Technologies – a Medical Device company based in the UK.
Still in active clinical practice, Yusuf also has a strong passion for humanitarian projects and health advocacy; founding a non-profit in 2015 known as ‘The Neo Child Initiative for Africa’ – a volunteer based organisation focused on transforming the lives of children in Sub-Saharan Africa by improving their access to essential Healthcare and Mentorship.
He has bagged several awards for his work including the UNLEASH SDG Global Innovation Lab awards for the Most Innovative Solution and the #SDG3 Gold in 2019. He is also a recipient of the Nigeria-America Partnership Award of the US Consulate Lagos and the Talent of the Future Award by Ideation Hub Africa.
