I joined the community first before registering for PEDs. 2 weeks apart of one another. Although I first knew about @thekidnutritionist in 2021 when I bought the zero2hero plan for my daughter. I was not able to follow the resources thoroughly because I got pregnant shortly after. Immediately, I put to bed, I knew it was an opportunity for me to equip myself before my child clocks 6months.
I must say that this group has taught me alot that I didn’t know in my 8years of being a mum.
My creativity in the kitchen is admirable, I now cook for my children with intention and Positive mindset. I am more deliberate.
I know what foods to avoid, how to double up on certain foods, I can identify cues and signs of feeding from my children using the different feeding languages.
I now know how to apply the CPF rule, this rule makes any food I cook nutrient dense.
I know how to read food labels, those labels ain’t there for fancy, lol.
I can avoid a constipation in my child by giving them the prescribed amount of water per day.
I know how to recognize intolerance and tell if my child is allergic to a certain food, how to eliminate and replace with something equally nutritious so they aren’t missing out on anything.
I now know healthy alternatives to common foods that are mere empty calories. I can put snacks together for my child/children and not feel guilty.
Lastly, Anything close to the earth is best for me and my family and I’ll never feel guilty for daring to be deliberate with what we put in our mouth as a family.
@thekidnutritionist @workingmumDiary you two are a Awesome pair. Kudos to the Nutrition4kids team. I love you.
